If you have ever been to a Sheetz, you have probably tried the Boom Boom Sauce. Even if you haven’t been to one, you have probably heard the lore of the Boom Boom Sauce. This is a condiment that you can get on the MTO (Made To Order) menu.

It is traditionally served with some of the fried foods and on a few different sandwiches. Needless to say, it is quite tasty. It has developed a cult following of people that adore it- but there is one problem: Sheetz isn’t a worldwide, or even a nationwide, thing. If you move away from a Sheetz, you may be craving the tangy sauce- and you are in luck.

We were able to break down the Sheetz Boom Boom sauce recipe and create something that you can make in your own kitchen.

What Is Sheetz Boom Boom Sauce?

Boom Boom Sauce is a famous sauce found only at Sheetz gas stations and convenience stores. Originally sold only with the deep fried pickles, it has quickly been added to many other MTO recipes, including fries, sandwiches, and pretty much anything you want- you get the chance to add it on whenever you order anything.

It is a mayonnaise-based sauce that has just the right amount of sweet, salty, and spicy to keep people addicted.

They have over 100 locations, most of them in Pennsylvania.

People who live in Northern PA tend to be Sheetz people. The restaurant has a low-grade feud with rival convenience store Wawa- and in arguments about which one is better, Boom Boom Sauce is often a considering factor.
