Internship Program

Midwest Manufacturing® has a great internship program with positions in different areas and interests. These internships can help students improve their skills and gain experience allowing them to perform hands-on work. Corporate Opportunities
Team Member
Build, package, and ship guest orders at one of our many plants across the Midwest. From building trusses to producing customs countertops, our Team Members make the best home improvement products available!
Area Supervisor
Assist with overseeing a Team of people in one of our many plants, making sure that we are safely and efficiently producing quality products for customers. This is a great stepping stone to entering our Manager Trainee program.
Manager Trainee
In the Manager Trainee Program, you can fine-tune your time management, organizational, and merchandising skills. This program offers many opportunities for advancement and growth.
Assistant Plant Manager
Help run one of our 40+ plants across the Midwest, overseeing production, maintenance, safety, and training. Use your management and plant experience to troubleshoot and make improvements to efficiency and safety throughout the manufacturing facility.
Plant Manager
Take charge of a Plant, making sure all aspects of the plant run smoothly. Plant Managers are responsible for ensuring all product is built in the most efficient way, while keeping our Teams Members safety in mind at all times.
Assistant General Plant Manager
Assist in the operation of a group of plants, working directly with Plant Managers.
General Plant Manager
Oversee the entire operation of a set of plants, creating the best possible work environment.
Maintenance
Experience a rewarding career maintaining and repairing industrial equipment with the latest technology in material handling systems which include conveyors, robotics, and automatic guided vehicles. Assist in maintaining a safe working environment and ensure the implementation of all maintenance safety programs.
Marketing
Work with a skilled and creative Team to develop literature, instructions, imagery, and design websites for all Midwest Manufacturing Products. Midwest Manufacturing employs Graphic Designers, Product Specialists, Product Managers, and so much more, all with room for growth.
Accounting & Finance
Specialize in developing and maintaining financial data at one of our 16 manufacturing plants. Midwest Manufacturing offers a variety of positions in the Accounting and Finance department, including Bookkeepers, Controllers, General Plant Controllers, Accounts Payable and Receivable, and so much more! Planning & Design
Work with an experienced Team to design buildings, flows, and machine location in new and existing manufacturing plants and MM buildings. Use your experience and knowledge to make improvements and increase efficiency. Join our Team as a CAD Designer, Project Manager, or Design Engineer today!
Manufacturing Engineering
Work with machine and robot manufacturers to add, build, or create the most efficient production process. From Developers to Project Managers and Engineers to Team Leads Midwest Manufacturing offers a variety of positions in the Manufacturing Engineering department. MM is proud to continue automating many areas in the production plants to create and maintain safer and more efficient facilities for our Team Members.
Post Frame Engineer
Assist contractors and customers to engineer Post Frame buildings to exact specifications. Midwest Manufacturing offers an Engineer in Training program to Team Members with an education and the desire to promote and grow with our company. Other positions available in this department include, Structural Engineers, CAD Designers, Office Assistants, Product Specialists and more.
Truss Designer
Work with the latest in computer programming to create roof and floor truss layouts for customers across the Midwest, all while utilizing great customer service skills. Midwest Manufacturing employs designers of all skillsets, includes entry-level to experienced designers, also Product Specialists, Sales & Design, Office Assistants, and more.

Weekend Incentive
For every hour worked on Saturday and Sunday, Team Members earn an additional $3.00 per hour.
